Choose Lovable if the win is a working app and you do not need the files in front of you. Choose Bolt.new if you want the same kind of prompt, plus a project you can read. Both paid plans start at $25 a month. The free plans are not the same unit.

Honest pick when you are new and the app has to store data: Lovable. Honest pick when you want to learn by reading what the prompt produced: Bolt.new.

v0 is the third option in that set. The full comparison is at https://buildstackweekly.com/lovable-vs-bolt-vs-v0.

Prices were checked October 15, 2026 on the official pages linked in the table. A number that was not printed there stays TBD. Pair pages that repeat a full guide are not listed here. Those guides stay the canonical page.

## Comparison

### Lovable
Best for: Chat that also sets up the backend
Site: https://lovable.dev
- Free: 5 build credits a day, up to 30 a month, plus 20 Cloud credits a month and 4 AI credits a month. No custom domain. The Edit with Lovable badge stays. Git sync is included. Editing the code inside Lovable needs Pro. Checked October 15, 2026 on https://lovable.dev/pricing and https://docs.lovable.dev/introduction/subscription-plans.
- Paid: Pro starts at $25 a month for 100 credits. It adds a custom domain, code editing, code download, and badge removal. Checked October 15, 2026 on https://docs.lovable.dev/introduction/subscription-plans.
- Who it is for: You want the form, the table, and the login from the prompt, and you will look at the code only after the first version works.
- Downside: Free cannot edit or download the code inside Lovable. That needs Pro. The 30 credit monthly cap also stops the daily credits early if you use them every day.

### Bolt.new
Best for: A prompt, with the code visible
Site: https://bolt.new
- Free: 300K tokens a day, capped at 1M a month. Free sites carry Bolt branding. Custom domains are not included. Hosting is included, up to 333k web requests. Checked October 15, 2026 on https://bolt.new/pricing.
- Paid: Pro is $25 a month, starting at 10M tokens a month with no daily cap. Unused tokens roll over a month. Pro removes Bolt branding and adds custom domains. Teams is $30 a month per member. Checked October 15, 2026 on https://bolt.new/pricing.
- Who it is for: You want to see the components, change a file, and still avoid installing Cursor or another editor this weekend.
- Downside: You are responsible for more of the backend shape, because Bolt is code-first. Free also keeps Bolt branding and has no custom domain.
