Use Carrd when the whole job is one page and you are willing to edit it by hand. Use Lovable when the page has to become an app, with saved data, from a prompt. Carrd Pro Standard is $19 a year. Lovable Pro starts at $25 a month. Carrd is cheaper for a simple page. Lovable is the one that builds the product behind the page.

Honest pick for a single page and a signup form: Carrd Pro Standard. Honest pick for an app, even a small one: Lovable.

Prices were checked October 15, 2026 on the official pages linked in the table. A number that was not printed there stays TBD. Pair pages that repeat a full guide are not listed here. Those guides stay the canonical page.

## Comparison

### Lovable
Best for: A prompt that creates an app
Site: https://lovable.dev
- Free: 5 build credits a day, up to 30 a month. No custom domain. The Edit with Lovable badge stays. Checked October 15, 2026 on https://lovable.dev/pricing and https://docs.lovable.dev/introduction/subscription-plans.
- Paid: Pro starts at $25 a month for 100 credits. Pro adds a custom domain and removes the Edit with Lovable badge. Checked October 15, 2026 on https://docs.lovable.dev/introduction/subscription-plans.
- Who it is for: You want software, not a brochure. A waitlist that writes to a database, a login, or a small tool.
- Downside: You are paying app-builder prices for what might only be a page. Free has no custom domain, and the monthly credit cap is 30.

### Carrd
Best for: One page, edited by you
Site: https://carrd.co
- Free: Up to 3 sites on a Carrd URL. Custom domains, signup forms, and removing the Made with Carrd badge are not included. Checked October 15, 2026 on https://carrd.co and https://carrd.co/docs/pro/plans.
- Paid: Pro Lite is $9 a year and removes the badge. It still has no custom domain and no form. Pro Standard is $19 a year: up to 10 sites, custom domains, no badge, and forms that send to Mailchimp, Kit, and similar tools. Pro Plus is $49 a year. Checked October 15, 2026 on https://carrd.co/docs/pro/plans.
- Who it is for: You know the sections of the page, you do not need an AI to write the layout, and a form that hands emails to another tool is enough.
- Downside: Carrd is not an app builder. Free cannot collect emails. The $19 form does not store the list inside Carrd.

## Questions

### Which one should I use for a landing page?

Carrd, if you will edit a one-page template and you want a custom domain for $19 a year. Lovable, if the landing page is the start of an app and you want the prompt to create the data storage too. The wider landing-page guide is at https://buildstackweekly.com/best-ai-landing-page-builder.

### Can Carrd save the emails itself?

No. Pro Standard forms send the address to another email tool. Lovable can store them because it includes a database. Issue 0 is the waitlist version of that Lovable build: https://buildstackweekly.com/issues/0.

### What if I want AI, but only for the page?

Look at v0 or Bolt, not Carrd. Carrd vs v0 is at https://buildstackweekly.com/compare/carrd-vs-v0. Carrd has no AI generation step. You start from a template.

### Which free plan can use my domain?

Neither. Lovable custom domains need Pro at $25 a month. Carrd custom domains start at Pro Standard, $19 a year.
