# Pick my stack

URL: https://buildstackweekly.com/pick-my-stack

Six beginner questions. The result is three tools that already appear on a guide, with the price checked on that guide (or TBD) and one downside each. The email signup on the result page is optional.

The same function answers GET /api/recommend, POST /api/recommend, and the MCP tool recommend_stack.

## Questions people ask

### Where do the three tools come from?
From the guides on this site. Each price was checked on the official page linked in that guide. If a price was not a single number, it stays TBD. The quiz does not add tools that are not already written up.

### Do I have to subscribe to see the stack?
No. The email box on the result page is optional. The result link works without it.

### Can I send the result to someone?
Yes. The result has its own URL. Opening that link shows the same three tools, the price we checked, and one downside each.
