Carrd vs v0

Pick Carrd when you already know the page and you want the cheapest way to put it on a domain. Pick v0 when you want to describe the layout and get code that deploys to Vercel. Carrd Pro Standard is $19 a year. v0 Plus is $30 per user a month. Carrd will not generate the page for you. v0 will not give you Carrd's simple form-to-Mailchimp setup.

Honest pick for a page you can describe in sections: Carrd. Honest pick if you want the AI to design it and you want the code: v0.

Prices were checked October 15, 2026 on the official pages linked in the table. A number that was not printed there stays TBD. Pair pages that repeat a full guide are not listed here. Those guides stay the canonical page.

Who each tool is for

  • Carrd

You want a personal page, a launch teaser, or a link-in-bio style site, and you would rather click controls than prompt a model.

  • v0 by Vercel

You want a custom layout, you want the React code, and you are fine learning where the form data goes.

One downside each

  • Carrd. There is no prompt. If you do not like the template, you edit it by hand. The form does not keep the email list inside Carrd.
  • v0 by Vercel. Seven free messages is a short session. Collecting emails is your job. Plus is a monthly bill, not a $19 yearly one.

Questions

Which is cheaper for a one-page site?

Carrd. Pro Standard is $19 a year and includes a custom domain and a signup form. v0 Plus is $30 per user a month. v0 Free can publish something, and any separate Vercel hosting charge is TBD.

Which one uses AI?

v0. You describe the interface. Carrd is a manual one-page builder. If you want AI and a database, that is Lovable, compared with Carrd at https://buildstackweekly.com/compare/lovable-vs-carrd (opens in a new tab).

Can I collect emails on the free plan?

Not on Carrd Free. Carrd forms start at Pro Standard. v0 can generate a form, and saving the addresses still needs a database you add. That database choice is on https://buildstackweekly.com/supabase-vs-firebase (opens in a new tab).

Should I use Netlify instead of Vercel for a Carrd-like page?

Carrd hosts Carrd sites. You do not put a Carrd project on Netlify. If you leave Carrd and ship the v0 code yourself, Vercel vs Netlify is at https://buildstackweekly.com/compare/vercel-vs-netlify (opens in a new tab).
